Galiano Island Bridal Styled Autumn Sunrise / Edmonton Wedding Photographer

The styled shoots from the Forage and Fern Workshop were such a dream. Each every morning the field by our cabins was covered in a light frost and soft misty fog rolled over the hills, we knew we had to set up a shoot that embraced this mystical feeling. Kate from Magnolia Rouge and Aimee from the Wells Makery took inspiration from the Island itself and all its raw natural beauty and everything came together so perfect, even Maja's (our model) fern tattoo fit the theme! Floral's were were a combination of purchased flowers and natural elements foraged from the island. The gorgeous brown and rust tones in the gown complimented the rustic and natural surroundings of the location. My favorite part of the shoot was watching Maja leap through the tall grass, she looked as if she were actually floating. My second favorite part was at the end of the shoot when the sun came up over the hills and the fog parted, the light was amazing!
