When Heather and Bill were planning their elopement they knew they wanted to travel to an intimate scenic spot in the mountains and when they came across Emerald Lake Lodge they instantly fell in love! From the U.S.A. they packed up their cars with their parents and made a road trip of it! On the morning of their wedding, as the clouds formed overhead we decided to do some portraits before the ceremony just in case it started raining. As luck would have it, it did started to rain but Heather and Bill embraced our spring mountain weather and didn't let it "dampen" their sprits. Their ceremony overlooked the iconic emerald waters where they exchanged their vows witnessed by the most important people to them in the entire world, their parents. After the tears dried and the congratulatory hugs were shared we all headed to the nearby beach for wedding party portraits. I have never had a wedding party consisting of parents before and I have to say it was awesome!! We had so much fun and could barely focus because we were all laughing so hard! Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your mountain elopement Heather and Bill!
