On our first trip to Kelowna together, Andrew and I just had to do an Okanagan couples session.
Originally our plan was to rent a sailboat for photos, but the company we booked unfortunately went out of business a week before our trip.
Plan B was to find a classic car or Vespa and tour the beautiful Naramata vineyards.
It took me a few days and quite a few rejections, but I eventually found someone selling a 1979 Fiat convertible and he was willing to rent it to us for a few hours for our shoot!
Theses photos give me such European vibes!
You have to have permission from the wineries to do photos in the vineyards and because of Covid we were not able to find one that would allow us access.
So Andrew and I drove around until we found this pretty little turn out on the side of the road with an amazing view.
And a small vineyard just below.
It ended up being the perfect location and even better then we could have hoped for.
When thinking of photo locations, think outside of the box!
Andrew and I both love classic cars! Our favourite show to watch together is Grand Tour.
After we said our goodbyes to the Fiat, we headed down to the beach to cool off.
The sun was just about to set and covered everything in a warm golden glow.
The lake water was so warm and refreshing.
There are only a few sandy beaches in the Okanagan, but there is something about rocky beaches that I love.
No Okanagan couples session is complete without a dip in the lake!
