If there has been a blessing to the wedding industry as a result of the global pandemic, it’s the increasing popularity of intimate at-home weddings. Even as we near the end of this challenging time, I believe that intimate weddings are here to stay and I am 100% here for it. Small doesn’t have to be simple and we are here to showcase that a Kelowna estate wedding, while small in nature, can be big in design and details.
Sandra Bettina Events utilized the beautiful bones of this estate home to guide her design and concept.
The invitations gave a nod to the at-home wedding concept through the thoughtful design while showcasing the colour palette.
A greenery chandelier above the table defined the space and created a cozy feel to an otherwise very open space.
Another thing you don’t usually get at a regular venue… a frame TV, which we used to display a custom wedding sign for our couple.
Guests were able to help themselves to custom cocktails served on a vintage bar throughout the day.
Classic colours mixed with wood tones and greenery created the perfect backdrop for this luxurious Kelowna estate wedding.
The home has a classic feel with transitional finishes, therefore our design mirrored the overall vibe of the house.
The ceremony was staged on the staircase with the sunset light creating a magical backdrop.
Surrounded by flowers and candles while embraced by the glow of the sun, this was the perfect spot to say “I do”.
The bride and groom had their own 2-tier cake to cut.
The wow-factor didn’t stop at the ceremony and continued onto the reception in the great room.
Each guest gets their own mini cake for dessert!
