Alex planned a trip from their home in Vancouver to Penticton for Marina’s birthday celebration. What Marina didn’t know is he was actually planning a romantic Naramata proposal followed by a champagne celebration with their friends and family at his parents home.
Alex and I chatted for a few weeks up to the Naramata proposal to make sure everything was planned perfectly. We picked a beautifully scenic cliffside spot overlooking the sparkling lake and vineyards below and planned to meet there just before sunset.
Marina thought they were simply having couples photos taken for her birthday present.
When Alex dropped to one knee she was overcome with emotion. Her answer was a resounding Yes!
With help from Marina’s mom, Alex designed the perfect engagement ring.
Marina and Alex’s friends were waiting with champagne on ice when they arrived and ready to celebrate!
Organizing a proposal is easier than you may think, but it does take some planning.
